Event team preparing decorations for a celebration
Our mission

Celebrations Like Back Home

VIP Showtime started in 2021 with one wedding in a rented Etobicoke hall — 80 guests, a borrowed sound system, and a tamada who refused to let a single quiet minute survive. By dessert, three other families had asked for our number. We didn't have business cards. We wrote it on napkins.

Five years later we've produced 57 celebrations for more than 18,400 guests across the GTA — weddings, jubilees, Yolkas, corporate galas and party nights. The rule hasn't changed since that first napkin: every event gets the full heart. Proper table, proper music, proper toasts — and a host who makes 200 strangers feel like one big family by the second course.

  • Real tamadas — bilingual, quick-witted, impossible to ignore
  • Full production — menu, music, decor, logistics, timeline
  • Local — Toronto born, working with 14 partner banquet halls

Quality control

Approved by the Toughest Critic

Every celebration we produce passes one final inspection: Boris Ivanovich. Father of the groom at our very first wedding — sunglasses on, cigar unlit, opinions fully loaded. He has attended more than forty of our events since. Nobody invites him. He simply knows.

His checklist has never changed, and neither has his expression:

  • The bar — correct
  • The music — correct
  • The respect — correct

If an evening earns his nod, it ships. If it earns a smile — it enters the company chronicle. There have been two.

Our story

Five Years in the Making

2021 — The napkin era

One wedding in Etobicoke, 80 guests, a borrowed sound system. Three bookings by dessert, phone number written on napkins.

2022 — The calendar fills up

First Yolka matinee, first Maslenitsa, first corporate party. First partner banquet halls signed — and the first thousand guests fed.

2023 — Something elegant

A client asks for "something like in the movies — suits, sunglasses, green felt." Our hosted casino-themed evening format is born: symbolic scoring, full production, entertainment only.

2024 — Diskoteka 90s sells out

Our first public party night fills The Opera House. The slow-dance block at 12:30 AM becomes a city-wide rumour, then a tradition.

2026 — The biggest year yet

57 celebrations, 18,400+ guests, 14 partner halls — and a New Year's Eve gala where midnight gets celebrated twice. Toronto time and Moscow time.
